Shake-and-Pour White Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix in a Mason Jar
These jars are a great neighbor gift because it is festive and fun! Also, nothing says Christmas morning like freshly made pancakes. Giving your neighbors this shake-and-pour pancake mix will make their Christmas morning delicious.
What you’ll need for each gift:
Each mason jar will make six, four-inch pancakes. If your neighbors have a large family, double the batch or give them two jars.
How to make the shake-and-pour pancake mix:
- Put half of the white chocolate chips in the bottom of the jar.
- Then, place one cup of pancake powder on top of the chips.
- Finally, top the pancake mix with more white chocolate chips. This will help the chocolate chips spread evenly throughout the batter.
Download the free printables and cut out the pancake mix tag. To attach the tag to the mason jar poke a hole through the wreath at the top of the tag. Put the string through the hole and tie a bow!
Christmas Sugar Cookie Cutter Mason Jar
If you want to give a gift that is a little less work but still have it feel homemade, this is the one for you! This mason jar gift has cookie cutters inside the mason jar with a sugar cookie recipe attached. It’s great reason for a family to get together and make sugar cookies.
Here is what you’ll need:
We used a 1 ½ pint mason jar to fit our cookie cutters because they were larger. As long as the cookie cutters fit, you can choose any size mason jar. Make sure to buy wide mouth mason jars so that many different shapes of cookie cutters will fit!
Once you download the free printables, poke a hole in the cookie on the top left of the printable tag and put a string through. Tie the tag the mason jar with a bow.
Now that you have your gifts made, go visit your neighbors and pass them out.
